Poster Contest For 4th Grade Students In Monmouth County
All county fourth graders will be submitting a poster for National County Government Month.
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — To commemorate National County Government Month in April, all fourth graders are invited to enter the Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey's “My County” poster contest.
This annual project encourages fourth-grade students to design their own poster since many students study the state of New Jersey as part of their social studies curriculum.
Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden, Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon, and Surrogate Maureen Raisch are the project's leaders.

Each poster a student makes should depict special aspects of Monmouth County and how they relate to county government.
“As New Jersey's fourth graders study the State of New Jersey as part of their social studies curriculum, the 'My County' poster contest helps students gain an understanding of what County Government does each and every day,” said Clerk Hanlon.
