Rumson Schools: Survey Would Inform Strategic Planning
Parents, residents have until Jan. 20 to fill out the online survey to help plan for future needs of the district.
RUMSON, NJ — The Rumson school district is asking parents and residents to respond to a survey to aid the district in its strategic planning.
In a letter to the public, the district noted that, after the passage of a $25.7 million school improvement bond referendum in 2019, the COVID pandemic struck, bringing new challenges.
The survey can help build "a fresh look at what might lay ahead for our town and education in general in years to come," the district wrote in the letter.

The survey opened Jan. 5 and will be available until the end of school on Friday, Jan. 20, the district said.
Based on responses, there may be follow-up surveys and/or focus groups to further explore some of the opportunities for the district going forward, the district said.
"Barring unexpected circumstances, we hope to have a new strategic plan in place for the coming school year," the letter said.
