Sea Bright Day Brings Community Spirit to Life in a Big Way
The Borough of Sea Bright's newest community tradition, Sea Bright Day, made its debut on Saturday, September 27th.
The Borough of Sea Bright is proud to announce the success of its newest community tradition—Sea Bright Day, which made its debut on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in the municipal parking lot and on the beach. Hundreds of residents, neighbors, and visitors turned out to celebrate all things Sea Bright with an afternoon of music, food, family fun, and coastal community pride.
From start to finish, Sea Bright Day captured the town’s unique small-town charm and beachside energy. Guests enjoyed live music, local food vendors, and hands-on activities hosted by municipal departments, local businesses, and community organizations. Highlights included a free surf lesson with Lucky Dog Surf School, the Fire Department’s popular beer truck and dunk tank, and Mrs. Rooney’s famous hot dogs, which lived up to their legendary status. The Police Department’s bike safety check and raffle sponsored by Bain’s Hardware drew big smiles, while EMS and first responders wowed kids with Touch-a-Truck.
Visitors also lined up for the Library’s face painting and 50/50 raffle, tested their local knowledge with Sea Bright trivia from the Historical Society, and explored the Sea Bright Business Collective craft and artisan market. The Recreation Committee’s bounce houses and family games kept energy high throughout the day, while the handprint mural along the seawall gave attendees a chance to literally leave their mark.
