There’s Still Time To Catch Fall Festivals Near Rumson and Fair Haven

Enjoy festivals celebrating autumn and Halloween in and around Rumson and Fair Haven.

RUMSON-FAIR HAVEN, NJ — Fall is a great time to get outside in Rumson and Fair Haven and take in the rich offering of festivals.

The changing colors of autumn provide a scenic background for fall and harvest festivals, which have contests ranging from apple bobbing and pumpkin carving to lumberjack contests and Halloween parades.

Fall is also the season for corn mazes, pumpkin patches and apple orchard visits.

Red Bank:

  • The 74th annual Red Bank Halloween Parade is Sunday, Oct. 30. Lineup will begin at 1 p.m. at East Bergen Place and Hudson Avenue. The parade kicks off at 2 p.m. Parade will march down Broad Street to the White Street Parking lot for best costume awards, festive activities and music. For more information, contact the Red Bank Parks and Recreation office at 732-530-2782.
  • Jersey Shore Ghost Tours are offering lantern-lit walking tour through historic Red Bank. Remaining dates are Oct. 28 and Nov. 4 and 11. Tours begin at 8:30 p.m. in front of The Dublin House, 30 Monmouth St. Registration is required at https://www.jerseyshoreghosttours.net to sign up for an upcoming tour. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for children under 12.
