Vehicle Theft In Rumson Sunday Prompts Warning To Residents
After an auto theft Sunday, police in Rumson are reminding residents to keep vehicles locked.
RUMSON, NJ — A vehicle was stolen Sunday night in the borough, and Rumson police are investigating the incident.
No details of the theft were disclosed as yet, but the theft has prompted a new advisory by police for residents to take precautions to protect their vehicles and belongings:
- Ensure that your vehicles are securely locked at all times.
- Remove all keys and valuables from your vehicles.
Also, police ask that if anyone notices suspicious activity or if anyone has information related to this incident or other incidents to report them to the Rumson Police Department at 732-842-0500 or to call 911.
