Water Main Work Closes Part Of Rumson Road: Rumson Police
Rumson police are alerting motorists to detours for parts of Rumson Road, as New Jersey American Water Co. makes water main repairs.
RUMSON, NJ — Rumson Road will be closed from Brookside to Woods End for water main construction work, Rumson police advised Monday morning.
Traffic will be detoured down Brookside and Woods End to Woodside Drive.
All school buses will get through to their respective stops for any schools, police said.

Police ask that motorists follow the detour and drive carefully around the road work.
New Jersey American Water earlier this month was working to fix a water main break that happened April 3 that closed some roads.
