Adopted, Rescued Dogs To Be Celebrated In Scotch Plains

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Scotch Plains is hosting DOGust Celebration, a universal birthday party for adopted and rescue dogs, on Aug. 11 at Jerseyland Park.

The event will include a cool off zone, crafts and activities, donation drive, food,and community groups.

The celebration will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at 2377 Richmond St. with a rain date of Aug. 16. One dog per human will be allowed. Pre-registration is required.
