The decline in COVID-19 cases has been evident in New Jersey, manifested in the relaxation of mask mandates. Masks are now optional in SPF public schools and in Fanwood’s Borough Hall. Many businesses no longer require them. However, the pandemic has not yet been officially downgraded to an endemic condition, so vaccinations and boosters are still on the agenda for those who haven’t gotten them, especially those in high-risk categories.
The New Jersey Department of Health is no longer providing weekly stats. However, their COVID Dashboard is available anytime for the big picture.
