Fanwood Blotter: Home Theft and Warrant Arrest

The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.


November 27, 2012:
Between 8:20 a.m and 5:30 p.m. a residence on Waldon Road was buglarized. The suspect forced entry by breaking a ground floor window. More information here.

November 20, 2012: At 12:56 a.m. an officer made a motor vehicle stop at Westfield Rd. and Pleasant Ave. for a motor vehicle violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of South Bound Brook. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. The defendant is a John Iazzetti, a 35-year-old male from Scotch Plains. 

November 21, 2012: Between 11:43 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. a resident in the 600 block of Terrill Road reported a package was delivered to her house was stolen off the front porch. The value taken is $50.00. 

Between September 1, 2012 and November 22, 2012: A resident in the 300 block of LaGrande Avenue reported missing silverware from his house.
The value is $ 4,000.00.
