Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA Annual Fall Harvest Set for Sat, Oct. 25

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA’s Fall Harvest event is returning on Saturday, October 25, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the community and includes fun, fall-themed activities for the entire family.

Activities at the event include: trackless train rides; arts and crafts; games; a pumpkin patch and pumpkin decorating; tasty treats; raffles and more. In addition, there will be pillowcase races sponsored by Shovlin Mattress Factory and a costume contest parade. Attendees are encouraged
to come dressed in their Halloween costumes.

There will be a raffle to support the Y’s Annual Campaign with prizes from over 20 businesses and attractions including: Darby Road Pub, The Stage House Tavern, Elegance Nail Salon, Crown Jewelers, Escapology, Six Flags Great Adventure, Seton Hall University, Medieval Times, Turning Point, WAWA, Crayola Factory and many more! The Annual Campaign helps ensure that
everyone has access to the Y’s life-changing programs and services through our
Financial Assistance program.

Plus, from Oct. 24-Oct. 26, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA is offering a Joiner’s Fee special of just $20.25 – a savings up to $79. Come to the Fall Harvest event and join the Y for the reduced Joiner’s Fee. All joiner’s fees will benefit the Y’s Annual Support Campaign.

The rain date for Fall Harvest will be Sunday, Oct. 26, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, please check the Y’s website (fspymca.org) before coming to the event.

Fall Harvest will be held at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA outdoor campsite: 1340 Martine Avenue, Scotch Plains. Come join us for some great fall fun!
