Meredith Signs With NY Cosmos
The Scotch Plains native signed the contract to play with the first-place team over the weekend.
The New York Cosmos have signed Scotch Plains native and former Monmouth University captain Bryan Meredith as their newest goalkeeper.
The contract was signed Saturday, reported BigAppleSoccer.com, although details to play for the first-place soccer team were not disclosed.
Meredith, 24, most recently played for IK Brage of the Swedish second division, Superettan and in 2011 he signed with the Seattle Sounders after being initially cut from the team.
