Party With Your Pup: Sheelen's Crossing In Fanwood To Host 'Yappy Hour'
In celebration of Fanwood's Council to allow dogs in local parks, the Irish pub in town will host a special 'Yappy Hour.' Dogs are invited.
FANWOOD, NJ — In celebration of Fanwood now allowing dogs in parks, Sheelen's Crossing is hosting its first, of many, "Yappy Hours" on Saturday.
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Fanwood residents are invited to bring their dogs and enjoy High Noon drink specials, prizes, special cocktails and a "Woof Menu" full of pet-safe items for the dogs.
The local Irish pub located at 200 South Avenue in Fanwood.

After months of debate, the Fanwood Borough Council recently voted to reverse a 20-year-old ordinance than banned dogs from Borough parks. The council voted 5-1 in favor of allowing dogs in the parks. Councilwoman Patricia Walsh was the lone "no" vote.
