Scotch Plains Announces April Pickup Date

From the Township of Scotch Plains:

The Scotch Plains Department of Public Property will begin pickups for leaves, limbs, brush and gumballs at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, April 18. Residents are reminded that crews will only be picking up leaves, limbs, bush and gumballs; stumps and other materials will not be collected. Branches must not exceed a maximum of three inches in diameter and a maximum of three feet in length. Branches and limbs should be separate from leaves, brush and gumballs.

The Township of Scotch Plains instructs residents to have materials out on the curb no more than seven days prior to pickup. Township ordinance prohibits putting vegetative waste at the curb unless a pickup is scheduled. Further information is available through the Township of Scotch Plains website.
