Series of Fiscal Committee on the Budget Meetings Begin March 10

Union County reminded residents the Fiscal Affairs Committee of the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders will be hosting Special Meetings to conduct Budget Meetings, beginning tonight, Tuesday, March 10.

Tuesday’s special meeting of the Fiscal Committee on the Budget will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Galloping Hill Golf Course Clubhouse, 3 Golf Drive, in Kenilworth.

The meeting will cover economic development, public safety, the Union County Sheriff’s Office and Parks and Recreation, according to Union County.

The series of Budget Meetings of the Fiscal Affairs Committee will meet three more times, following Tuesday’s meeting.

• Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at the UC Administration Building, 10 Elizabethtown Plaza, 6th Floor, Elizabeth
• Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at the UC Administration Building, 10 Elizabethtown Plaza, 6th Floor, Elizabeth
• Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at the UC Performing Arts Center’s Hamilton Stage, 360 Hamilton Street, in Rahway

According to Union County, the meetings are not regular meetings of the Board of Chosen Freeholders and no action will be taken. Residents and members of the public are invited to attend, but a public comment portion will not be included in the special meetings.
