Shackamaxon Country Club Opens 'Shack-Cade'

Shackamaxon Country Club: Shackamaxon Country Club voted one of the best private club bargains in New Jersey (Golfstyles), announces the opening of its new Shack-Cade—a game room for kids of all ages featuring classic arcade favorites and new video games. The Shack-Cade is the latest amenity to be unveiled to the membership and complements an array of family-friendly offerings that include an expansive resort-style pool with water features, a popular junior golf program, full day summer camp, and a jam-packed event calendar.

“By optimizing available space, we can provide safe and enjoyable activities year-round for our youngest members,” said Shackamaxon Country Club Managing Partner Christopher Schiavone.

The new game room boasts a separate entrance (away from other member areas) on the lower level of the clubhouse and is located near the club’s pool complex. In addition to offering recreational fun during the summer, the Shack-Cade will be the site of kids’ club events and arcade tournaments and will be incorporated into young member birthday party packages.

The game room features full-size air hockey and foosball tables, and a multi-cade with over 600 classics such as Pac-Man, Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, X-Men, and Tetris. Youngsters can also jump around with the Pump It Up Pro Video Arcade Dancing Machine or compete while playing various Xbox One games.
