• Strathmere residents: Noise ordinance is not helping us ‣ Ocean City Sentinel (ocnjsentinel.com) — Residents in nearby Strathmere are pushing Upper Township for tougher, all-day noise rules and are specifically pointing to Sea Isle City’s plainly audible standard as a model. Their complaints center on music and other noise from local businesses, arguing the new ordinance only helps after 10 p.m. and leaves daytime and evening quality-of-life issues unresolved.
