Week of July 7 - July 13:

On July 8 at 11:20 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Burlington Coat factory on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 49-year-old male of North Bergen, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On July 9 at 10:15 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to 1285 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a verbal dispute. Police arrested a 30-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On July 10 at 2:43 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 45-year-old man of Edgewater, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 6 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On July 11 at 12:33 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old female of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,000. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On July 12 at 4:46 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to 100 Seaview Drive on a report of a burglary into a motor vehicle. Police arrested a 19-year-old male, non-domicile, for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

On July 13 at 2:01 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 40-year-old male of West New York, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional three motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On July 13 at 2:19 p.m. Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 41-year-old man of Lyndhurst, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-22B(1)] and Theft by Deception [2C:20-4]. He was issued his complaint summons and released from police custody.

On July 13 at 6:06 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Chico’s Pizza located at 161 Front Street for a call of theft of services. Police arrested a man from Carteret and charged him with Theft of Services [2C:20-8A]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

Week of July 14 - July 20

On July 15 at 12:09 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a suspicious individual walking behind the Secaucus Public Library located at 1379 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, police arrested a 32-year-old male of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On July 15 at 8:29 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old man of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Edison, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On July 16 at 7:22 p.m., police arrested a 39-year-old female of Somerset, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Parsippany, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. She was arrested at the Secaucus Police Department. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On July 19 at 10:47 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 19-year-old man of Cincinnati, OH for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On July 19 at 12:52 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Flanagan Way and 2nd Street on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 64-year-old man Jose Molina of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Molina was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On July 19 at 7:56 p.m., Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn on Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, police arrested a 46-year-old male, Manuel Monge of Paterson, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be MDMA [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Oxycodone [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. The police also arrested a 36-year-old female of Wycoff, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $3,500 with a 10% option. She was able to post bail for the warrant and was released from police custody. Monge was issued his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On July 20 at 9:53 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 45-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police, Unlawful Use of Credit Cards [2C:21-6] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A].
