Accident On Front Street At 1st Street Saturday

SECAUCUS, NJ — While many people were enjoying the festivities of the Secaucus 125th birthday party, a car accident occurred at about 5 p.m. on Front Street at 1st Street. There was only one car involved and it was coming down Front Street when it drove into a tree.

The impact was so great that air bags were deployed inside the vehicle, a BMW SUV.

At least one person was taken to the Secaucus hospital by ambulance. It is unknown what caused the accident.
