Man Arrested On Front Street In Secaucus

Police stopped the man's car and he was wanted for an outstanding warrant. He was pulled into the parking lot of a nearby bar.

SECAUCUS, NJ — A man was arrested on Front Street near Minnie Place Monday afternoon in Secaucus. At about 4 p.m. he could be seen from the public sidewalk being led, in handcuffs, by Secaucus Police into a squad car.

The man had been involved in a motor vehicle stop and he was wanted on an outstanding traffic warrant, said Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller.

His arrest was not tied to Dublin Yard bar/restaurant, which is located there: He was stopped by police while driving, and officers pulled into the Dublin Yard parking lot to safely make the arrest. He was put into handcuffs in front of the bar.

The incident attracted multiple Secaucus police cars, with lights flashing, at about 4 p.m. Monday on Front Street, prompting many residents and business owners to come out of their shops and ask what was going on.
