Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash Near American Dream Monday Night, Woman Injured

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — There was a fatal motorcycle accident on Rt. 120 near American Dream mall Monday night, where a man was killed and his passenger, a woman, seriously injured.

The crash occurred at 9:23 p.m. Monday on Rt. 120 north, near the mall, said a spokesman for Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.

The accident only involved one motorcycle, which may have struck a curb.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene, and his passenger was taken to a local hospital with potentially serious injuries.

The identities of the man and woman, and the towns they are from, has not been released.

This ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the East Rutherford Police Department under the direction of Chief Dennis Rivelli.
