SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On April 28 at 3:28 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old male of Newark, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] for operating a motor vehicle that was bearing a stolen license plate. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On April 28 at 11:09 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to Harmon Suites located at 455 Plaza Drive on a report of a guest being disruptive. During the investigation, the police arrested a 74-year-old female of Secaucus, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A] for making threats at the hotel staff. She was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On April 28 at 8:51 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 27-year-old female of Newark, NJ and a 46-year-old female of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B()2)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)]. Both were issued their complaint summonses and released from police custody.

On April 29 at 7:29 p.m., officers from the New Jersey State Police responded to Secaucus Police headquarters to transfer custody of a 30-year-old male of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail. This warrant was issued in relation to a shoplifting that occurred at Walmart on 04/14/2025. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Brunswick, NJ in the amount of $2,500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $1,500. He was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County jail.

On April 29 at 4:19 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County jail to take into custody a 62-year-old male of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $600. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On April 29 at 11:21 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to CVS on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 37-year-old male of Newark along with a 30-year-old male of Kearny, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. The Kearny man was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Crack Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Harrison, NJ with no bail. The Newark man was found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bloomfield, NJ in the amount of $7,500. Both were issued their complaint warrants and transported to the Hudson County jail.

On April 30 at 7:32 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 1 Plaza Drive on a report of a man being harassed by another individual. Police arrested a 53-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A], Harassment [2C:33-4A], Bias Intimidation [2C:16-1A(2)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] and 4 counts of Prohibited Weapons [2C:39-3E]. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Suffolk County, NY with no bail. Due to this outstanding warrant, he was additionally charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. He was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County jail.

On May 2 at 2:44 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle being operated in a reckless manner in the area of Flanagan Way and Paterson Plank Road. A motor vehicle stop was conducted. During the motor vehicle stop, the vehicle fled from the police. The vehicle was subsequently located in the area of 9th Street and Front Street. The operator of the motor vehicle, a 23-year-old male of North Bergen, NJ was arrested for Eluding [2C:29-2B] and Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his complaint summons along with 7 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On May 2 at 11:03 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart and took into custody a 38-year-old male of Patchogue, NY for Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(1)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
