SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On July 21 at 2:30 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old man of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued a motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional two motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On July 21 at 11:45 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Royal Motel located at 650 Rt. 3 West for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was reported to be driving erratically in the parking lot and striking a parked car. During the investigation, the police arrested a 62-year-old man of Bergenfield, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 7 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On July 23 at 9:49 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to an incident of lewdness that occurred in the parking lot of 3 Mill Creek Drive on 04/07/2025, the police arrested a 35-year-old man, Victor Torres of Belleville, NJ for Lewdness [2C:14-4B(1)]. Torres was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters. He was issued a complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On July 23 at 12:49 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot of 700 Plaza Drive on a report of individuals reported to be siphoning cooking oil. Police arrested a 51-year-old man, Sean Crawford of Hillside, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A] and Possession of CDS believed to be Suboxone [2C:35-10A(1)]. Crawford was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Police also arrested a 46-year-old male, Josh Liggins of Newark, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A], Possession of CDS believed to be Suboxone [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Oxycodone [2C:35-10A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Liggins was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Nutley, NJ in the amount of $2,500, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,000 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West Orange, NJ in the amount of $250. Both men were issued complaint warrants and transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On July 23 at 9:43 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in relation to a theft at Walmart on July 17, SPD responded to Union City and arrested a 54-year-old woman, Nieves Rosario of Union City, NJ for Theft of Property Lost/Mislaid [2C:20-6]. Rosario was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On July 24 at 12:03 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22-year-old man of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $750. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On July 24 at 10:57 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Watchung, NJ in the amount of $550 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On July 24 at 12:24 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old man, Jorge Sojo-Giraldo of North Bergen, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A], for possessing a stolen license plate. Sojo-Giraldo was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released.
On July 24 at 9:33 p.m. the police responded to the 700 block of Post Place and took custody of a 42-year-old woman, Nichole Barletti of Secaucus and charged her with False Report [2C:28-4B(1)], for filing a false police report with the Secaucus Police Department on July 23. Police say she made a false report to the police about finding a dog on Post Place. Police allege the dog was given to her to care for. Barletti was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On July 24 at 9:09 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Rt. 3 East for a report of a motor vehicle that was stopped and obstructing traffic on the roadway. Police arrested a 43-year-old man of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 7 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On July 25 at 8:35 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 39-year-old male, Vinh Tran of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $2,000 with a 10% option. Tran was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On July 25 at 4:00 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 25-year-old woman of Paterson for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,500, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $600 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fairfield, NJ in the amount of $1,000, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $750 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $750. She was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On July 25 at 6:47 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit arrested a 31-year-old male, Michael Giglio of Belleville, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(1)]. Police also arrested a 31-year-old female, Katalina Guzman of Queens, NY for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] and Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Mr. Giglio and Ms. Guzman were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
On July 25 at 8:07 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 31-year-old man, Bruce McFadden of Manhattan, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(2)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. McFadden was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On July 26 at 2:45 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old woman of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $750. Passaic Police released her on her own recognizance. She was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
