Incumbents Win BOE Election In South Brunswick: Unofficial Results

The polls have closed. Nine candidates are vying for three seats on the BOE. Here are the unofficial results:

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — With all 30 districts reporting, the three incumbents seeking re-election have their races in the South Brunswick Board of Education election, according to unofficial results from Middlesex County.

Nine candidates were vying for three seats on the South Brunswick Board of Education.

Mike Mitchell, Raja Krishna and Smitha Raj edged out their challengers. Mitchell got the most number of votes at 5,101, followed by Krishna (3,631) and Raj (2,864). Former BOE member and President Joyce Mehta, trailed Raj by 640 votes.
