Free Herb Garden Workshop July 8 At Middlesex County EARTH Center
The Master Gardeners of Middlesex County invite you to an upcoming workshop entitled "Exploring the Cook's Herb Garden."

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Master Gardeners of Middlesex County invite you to an upcoming workshop entitled, “Exploring the Cook's Herb Garden.” This free workshop is scheduled for Saturday, July 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Middlesex County EARTH Center located in Davidson’s Mill Pond Park at 42 Riva Ave. in South Brunswick.
Join us and learn how to care for and harvest herbs when they are at their freshest and most delicious, and how to plan a garden tailored to your personal cooking style. This workshop will present the best times and methods to harvest leaves, flowers, seeds and roots. Weather permitting, participants will be given a tour of the EARTH Center’s Circle of Thyme Herb Garden.
“I know that all residents interested in cooking, not just gardening, will learn a lot from this workshop,” said Freeholder Kenneth Armwood, Chair of the County’s Business Development and Education Committee. “Herbs are a great addition to any garden and make for healthy, delicious meals.”

“The EARTH Center is a great resource for County residents,” said Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios. “Our residents have learned so much about how to care for and harvest plants, as well as how to keep their gardens and soil free of pesticides and other hazards.”
