SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - South Brunswick has announced that the street sign dedication ceremony honoring Roy E. Menghi, a 96-year-old Korean War veteran, will be held on Saturday, at 11 a.m. The ceremony was originally planned for May 24, but had to be rescheduled.

The dedication will take place at the intersection of Kendall Road and Palmer Road, where a secondary street sign bearing Mr. Menghi's name will be unveiled. This recognition is part of the Township's Veterans Street Sign Recognition Program, which demonstrates South Brunswick's ongoing commitment to honoring local veterans who have served their country.

Menghi's military service during the Korean War exemplifies the courage and dedication shown by American service members during this significant period in our nation's history. The Korean War, fought from 1950 to 1953, saw thousands of young Americans serve in challenging conditions abroad.
