Man Killed Plainsboro Girlfriend, Hid Body Under Bed For A Month: Complaint
While Victoria Lee was reported missing, Rahim Johnson used her bank account and even requested people for money via apps.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Mercer County man who is charged in the death of a Plainsboro woman, strangled her and hid her body under the bed for a month, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
Rahim Johnson, 43, of Trenton is charged with first-degree murder, third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and fourth-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
On Jan. 30, Plainsboro Police received a call reporting that Victoria Lee, 26, was missing.

Lee’s father told cops he last saw her on Jan. 24. He told police that Johnson was her boyfriend and lived with her. Lee’s father last saw Johnson on Jan. 25.
During the time Lee was missing, several people reported receiving messages from her, requesting money through Zelle and Cash App. Those accounts belonged to Lee and Johnson, according to the complaint.

On Feb. 25, Plainsboro Police found Lee’s body under her bed, hidden behind various bed coverings and clothing, completely obscured, the complaint said.
When police launched an investigation, they found Lee’s bank records showing transactions made in Trenton during the course of her disappearance, up to the date when police found her body, according to the complaint.
On Feb. 26, Johnson was apprehended in Trenton on a warrant for parole violation. During an interview with the police, Johnson admitted to arguing with Lee on Jan. 24, the complaint said.
Johnson told police that during the argument, Lee cut him with a knife and he attempted to stop her. But because he was “out of it” he wasn’t sure if he had something to "do with it or not,” the compliant said.
Once Johnson “came to” Lee was dead so he hid her under the bed, took her cellphone and used it along with her banking apps, the complaint said. The affidavit indicates that Johnson used an electrical cord to strangle Lee.
Johnson is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center. His hearing is scheduled for Tuesday. He has a long criminal record which includes assault, child endangerment and resisting arrest.
