Man Stabbed During Dispute In South Brunswick: Police
An Edison man has been charged in connection with the stabbing. The victim is in stable condition, police said.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A South Brunswick man was stabbed during a dispute on Saturday morning, South Brunswick PD Chief Raymond Hayducka said. The suspect, an Edison man, has been charged with attempted murder.
On Saturday at 1:19 am South Brunswick Police received a 911 call of a dispute on James Avenue.
Officers Sean Nally, Robert Marrese, and Ken English arrived at the scene and found a man suffering multiple stab wounds, police said. He was taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.

Officers questioned witnesses who said there was a dispute between two people and the man had been stabbed.
Officers identified Dante Wright, 24, of Edison as the suspect. Wright was still on the scene and taken into custody, police said.

According to investigation, Wright and the man knew each other. During the dispute, Wright used a pocket knife to stab the man several times, police said. Authorities did not disclose the nature of the dispute.
Wright was charged with Attempted Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Aggravated Assault. He was lodged in the Middlesex County Correction Center pending his detention hearing.
