Manhunt For Jan. 6 Riot Suspect Enters Day 2 In Middlesex County

The manhunt began Wednesday morning when Gregory Yetman fled from authorities attempting to serve him a warrant.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – The FBI Newark SWAT, Jamesburg Police Department, and Middlesex County Prosecutors Office continue the search for Gregory Yetman, a suspect wanted in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol Riots.

The manhunt began Wednesday morning, when authorities attempted to serve Yetman a warrant at his home in Helmetta and he fled into a wooded area, authorities said. The search continued well into Wednesday evening with an increased police presence in the area.

Law enforcement authorities command post is stationed at the Helmetta Community Center, Mayor Chris Slav said.
