Mercer Man Charged With Murder In Death Of Missing Plainsboro Woman

Victoria Lee went missing on Jan. 30 and police found her dead on Tuesday, the prosecutor said.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — A man from Mercer County has been charged with murder and weapons offenses in the death of a missing Plainsboro woman, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Eamon Blanchard of the Plainsboro Police Department said.

On Jan. 30, authorities received a call reporting that Victoria Lee, 26, of Plainsboro, was missing. Police began their search for Lee and on Tuesday, found her dead, Ciccone said.

According to an investigation, Rahim Johnson, 43, of Trenton, was living with Lee and was the last person to see her alive before she was reported missing. Authorities did not specify the nature of their relationship.

No other information is available on the cause of Lee's death.

On Wednesday, Johnson was taken into custody without incident and charged with first-degree murder, third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and fourth-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Johnson is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending results of a pre-trial detention hearing, Ciccone said.
