Middlesex Co. To Host Senior Fraud Prevention Conference

The conference is aimed at raising awareness about scams targeting older adults.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — With several scams targeting seniors and draining them of their savings, County lawmakers are taking steps to safeguard them.

The Middlesex County Office of Aging and Disabled Services, in partnership with the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, is hosting the 2025 Senior Fraud Prevention Conference.

The conference is aimed at raising awareness about scams targeting older adults and providing resources to help protect them.

The conference will discuss common fraud schemes, including online, phone, and door-to-door scams. Attendees will also receive expert guidance from law enforcement on best practices to safeguard personal information and financial security.

The conference will be held on Friday, March 14 at Middlesex College.

The conference is free and open to all older adults (60+), caregivers, and those who serve the older adult population.
