Monmouth Jct. Actor to Star in East Coast Comedy Premiere

Peter Reimann stars in the feel-good, political comedy HUMAN ERROR having its east coast premiere with Pegasus Theatre Company

There have been a million Hamlets, but Peter Reimann of Monmouth Jct., NJ gets to be one of the first actors to portray Dr. Hoskins, the bumbling fertility doctor who kicks off the action in Human Error, a new comedy by Eric Pfeffinger making its east coast premiere at Pegasus Theatre Company in Princeton Jct., NJ this September.

In Human Error, Madelyn and Keenan—socialist-leaning, NPR listening, blue-state liberals—discover their embryos have been mistakenly implanted in Heather. To make matters worse, Heather and Jim are Christian, NRA card-holding, red-state conservatives. Faced with this case of “mistaken fertility,” the couples navigate their way through a tumultuous nine months of culture clash and hilarity.

The new comedy deals with the division in our country in a way that is fair to both sides and might just reveal that we have more in common than we think. Using laughs to expose the humanity in us all, Human Error is a hilarious, touching, and sometimes sad trip through the reality of being an American today.

Reimann plays the doctor whose error causes the conflict in the show. “It’s a very timely story about how different we are as people and how sometimes the smallest thing we have in common can create a friendship, or at least a better understanding of each other,” Reimann said. “Human Error does this in a way that takes no sides, and with loving humor, points out some of our own foibles and prejudices.”

A veteran of the stage, Reimann said, “I love telling stories, engaging an audience both physically and emotionally. It’s also exciting to tell those stories with a group of fellow artists that exist in the very moment of the playwright's world, giving you something new to respond to with each rehearsal and performance.” In addition to performing on local stages, Reimann also shares his musical talent as Director of Worship Arts at Grace Presbyterian Church in Kendall Park.
