National Night Out Postponed In South Brunswick Due To Impending Rain
The event will now take place on Aug. 13 at Rowland Park.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The National Night Out which was scheduled to take place in South Brunswick on Tuesday evening has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The local police department said they decided to move the event to another date "out of safety concerns for our residents and staff working the event."
The event will now take place next Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Rowland Park, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

“This is a night we look forward to each year. It will be a great night, we just have to wait an extra week,” Mayor Charlie Carley said.
According to the police department, for the first time in 30 years, the event is being moved to a different date.
