National Night Out Scheduled For Aug.6 In South Brunswick

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - neighbors, get ready for another summer day of fun. The South Brunswick Police Department has announced the date for this year's Night Out.

National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Rowland Park, located on Broadway Road.

Attendees can expect free rides, interactive displays for all our first responder services and lots of free food and fun.

For two consecutive years - 2022 and 2023, the police department’s National Night Out Celebration received top honors in the country. A committee from the National Association of Town Watch found that SBPD's effort to engage with all aspects of the community, including age groups and various cultures made the event outstanding.

Attendance at the event has also increased in the past few years. Last year the event saw over 8,200 people in attendance, the largest turnout ever.

The carnival-like environment featured rides, displays, food and highlighted the excellent police-community relations in South Brunswick.
