NJ Repertory Theatre Auditioning For Shrek Musical In South Brunswick

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – If you’re interested in theatre, this could be your chance.

The New Jersey Repertory Theatre is hosting auditions for Shrek The Musical on Sept. 9 and 10 at Crossroads South Middle School. The auditions will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is open to students from grades 2 to 8.

Appointments are not required for auditions. Students will be seen in the order of arrival. They need to attend only one audition.

Auditioning students should sing a portion of a Broadway show tune or Disney song. Younger auditioners may sing Happy Birthday.

Those interested in auditioning for a lead role should sing a portion of a song related to that character. No other songs will be considered.

Rehearsals begin on Sept. 20.

Performances are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 21 and Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.
