Police Officer From Cranbury Dies After Suffering Medical Episode

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – An officer from the Cranbury Township Police Department died over the weekend after suffering a medical episode, Police Chief Michael J. Owens said.

Todd Galla started his career as a dispatcher at LifeComm. He served as TEMS EMS and TEMS Supervisor from the early to mid-90s.

Galla joined Trenton Police in 2000. He left the Trenton Police Department and worked as a police officer at Hightstown Police Department before joining Cranbury police.

“He served our community with professionalism, integrity, and courage for 18 years. He will be missed by all his brother and sister Officers,” Owens said.

Galla is survived by his wife Denise, daughter Jenna, his stepson James and his parents.
