SBPL Fines Forgiven April 3-9 on Overdue Items
Spring Is A Fresh Start! Return Overdue Library Materials During National Library Week Without Fines!

MONMOUTH JCT, NJ – Spring time is a great time for a fresh start. The South Brunswick Public Library wants to help by giving residents a chance to return any overdue books, video games, DVDs, or CDs without paying fines. Amnesty Week coincides with National Library Week, April 3-9. Fines will be forgiven on any items returned to the Library or its book drops during this time period.
“Whether your items are five days late or five months late, we will take them back without any penalty during Amnesty Week,” said Judy Pietrobono, Assistant Director. “We are looking forward to getting our material back but more importantly, our customers back! We hope everyone will grab those overdue items and visit us during National Library Week for a fresh start.”
Keep in mind that fine forgiveness does not apply to lost or damaged books or lost or damaged media or video games. Also, no refunds will be given to patrons who paid fines prior to Amnesty week.
