School District To Host ‘South Brunswick Reads Night’ Jan. 31
This year's theme aims to develop empathy, and create a fair and just society where all are welcome
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The South Brunswick School district will be hosting the “South Brunswick Reads Night” on Jan. 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the high school.
“Reading as a community offers a way to come together to appreciate each other’s differences and to find the connections that unite us. When thoughtfully selected, reading aloud from a picture book, sharing a graphic novel, or enjoying an award-winning title can build literacy, while increasing a sense of equity and belonging in readers of all ages,” according to the website.
“Reading as a town can increase our awareness and understanding of ourselves and our neighbors.”
