Carteret, South Amboy, South Plainfield and Jamesburg: Middlesex County is offering a free summer concert series in four county parks:

From Carteret to Jamesburg, Middlesex County is offering a free summer concert series in four county parks for summer 2019, called "Music in the Park."

This year offers a variety of different musical styles in some of the county's most scenic parks, so you can enjoy live entertainment close to home.

“Music-in-the-Park is a great outdoor opportunity that the whole family can enjoy,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios. “Grab a chair or blanket and get ready to enjoy the sounds of summer.”

“Whether you’re a music lover or just a casual fan, this series offers something for everyone,” said Freeholder Charles Kenny, Chair of the Infrastructure Management Committee. “You can explore Jazz, Motown, Classic Rock and much more with these free live performances.”

*In case of Inclement Weather, the concert will take place at the South Amboy Middle/High School Auditorium. Shuttle bus service will be provided each week courtesy of Middlesex County Area Transit.*
