South Brunswick PD Gets Donation For Training, Ballistic Vest

An amount of $2,500 was donated to the Police Department by the local Durga Temple

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The South Brunswick Police Department on Wednesday received a generous donation from a community group.

The Durga Temple and the Central Jersey Hindu Association donated $2,500 to the Police Department. The funds will be used for additional training in the future and a ballistic vest, the department said.

Police Chief Raymond Hayducka thanked the Durga Temple for their donation.

“We appreciate our strong partnership with the Durga Temple and the Central Jersey Hindu Association. We have such a gracious community that appreciates the officers that work with them,” Hayducka said.

“The donations from the Durga Temple will be put to good use and the officers from this Police Department are very thankful”.
