South Brunswick Schools Will Interview BOE Candidate At Thursday Meeting
The seat was left vacant after BOE member Lisa Rodgers resigned from her post.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick School District recently published a vacancy notice for the unexpired Board seat available through Dec. 31.
The seat was left vacant after BOE member Lisa Rodgers resigned from her post.
In their application, the candidate was asked to answer three questions:

- In your judgement, what is a role of a School Board Member?
- Describe specifically what you hope to achieve as a Board of Education Member.
- What special insights will you bring to the Board of Education?
The last day to submit applications was July 17.
Selected candidates will be interviewed in an Open Public Meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 24. After deliberation in Executive Session, the Board may vote on a candidate.

The selected candidate must complete a criminal background check within 30 days of the appointment in order to be sworn in at the Aug. 21, Board of Education Public Meeting.
