South Brunswick Students Learn About Substance Abuse Prevention Through Collaborative Program
There were 2 presentations that focused on substance abuse prevention and mental health awareness.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Students in the South Brunswick School District recently participated in two impactful presentations focused on substance abuse prevention and mental health awareness, thanks to a partnership between the South Brunswick Police Department, school district, and Municipal Alliance.
The first session featured Dr. Matt Bellace, a clinical psychologist with expertise in neuropsychology, who delivered an interactive presentation called "How to Achieve a Natural High." Dr. Bellace encouraged students to become positive leaders while learning healthy strategies for managing life's challenges.
The second presentation showcased the Black Poster Project, a silent memorial that highlights the personal and devastating effects of addiction. This powerful display helped students better understand how addiction impacts families, recognize warning signs, and identify resources for help.
