Friday
Get Ready for Labor Day Weekend in South Brunswick
Need to get some supplies for you barbecue this weekend to officially say good bye to summer? Click here for the Patch business directory to see where to find what you need. But don't forget South Brunswick Township will not collect trash or recycling on Monday Sept. 2 in observance of the holiday. All materials will be collected on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Open House/Registration Day at Step to the Rhythm Dance Academy, 43 Stouts Lane Monmouth Junction, 6 p.m.
Come and register for the fall Session starting Sept. 9. You will get $5 off September tuition and no registration fee.
Saturday
Open House at Children First Montessori School, 143 New Road, Monmouth Junction, 10 a.m.
Limited seats are available for Pre-k and Kindergarten programs. Take a tour of the school and see how the school can meet the needs of your child.
Central Jersey (geek) Culture Appreciation, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 1:30 p.m.
A group of friendly, open-minded, mostly 20 and 30-somethings whose interests run the gamut from Buffy to Doctor Who, Comic Books to Lord of the Rings, Cranium to Dungeons and Dragons and far more. The group gets together for board games, video games, movies, talking, etc. Meetings at the Library the first Sunday and fourth Saturday of the month.
