Timothy Wright, Longtime SBHS Teacher, Dies
The former social studies teacher and supervisor retired in 2010 after 38 years at the high school.

Timothy (Tim) R. Wright, 64, of Readington, NJ, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, at his home.
Born in Eau Claire, WI, he was the son of Robert Wright, deceased, and Christine Wright of Liverpool, NY. Tim lived in Hamilton Square before moving to Readington in 1988.
He was a teacher and supervisor of Social Studies at for 38 years before retiring in June 2010. He was a dedicated coach at the school for both the boys and girls tennis teams for 19 years. Wright was also the supervisor of student teachers at The College of New Jersey and was an adjunct professor of psychology at Kean University.
He was very active in the Boy Scouts and was a Scout leader for nine years with Troop 1969 in Stanton.
Besides his mother, Christine, Wright is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lauren (Sweatt) Wright and his two sons, Nicholas Robert and Jeremy Timothy, who both live at home. He is also survived by his brother, Bruce Wright, of New Market, NH, and his sister, Cathy Cooper, of Baldwinsville, NY.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Dec. 5, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. In Wright's honor a life celebration service will be held in the summer of 2012.
