Today: Read to a Therapy Dog at SBPL, Sunny Skies Ahead

Goings on in South Brunswick on Wednesday.

With the new school year rapidly approaching, does your child need some help with their confidence in reading?

The South Brunswick library may have the answer to your problems. Meanwhile, the comedown from Labor Day weekend is somewhat evened out by the benefits of a short week, as we're two days in and already at the middle of the week.

So let's check what's going on in South Brunswick on Wednesday.

1. Today's forecast is gorgeous with sunny skies and a high of 81 degrees.

2. Get your child ready for the start of school by having them read with a furry friend. The South Brunswick Public Library's Read to a Therapy Dog program runs tonight from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The program serves children of all reading levels, but the first half-hour tonight is devoted to kids with special needs. Reading to therapy dogs can help kids with difficulty in reading gain confidence and build their skills. Click here for more information.
