Triple-Vaxxed NJ Father Of 6 Dies Of COVID Complications
Timothy Helck tested positive on Christmas Eve and died suddenly on Dec. 29 from COVID-19 complications, according to a GoFundMe page.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Since the onset of the pandemic, Cranbury resident Timothy Helck did everything he could to protect himself from COVID-19, including getting vaccinated, boosted, and practicing strict social distancing.
But on Christmas Eve, just before a family gathering, Helck tested positive for COVID-19. On Dec. 29 Helck died suddenly from COVID-19 complications, according to his daughter Miranda.
When Helck told his family he tested positive they were concerned about him, "but he told us he wasn’t feeling too bad. We never imagined his death could be the outcome," Miranda wrote on the GoFundMe page.

“Our dad felt pretty good until about 11 PM on December 28, when he was rushed to the hospital with chest pain. Within hours, he was gone. The doctors told us it was COVID sepsis and a heart attack. We were told a rapid decline and death like this is rare, but not unheard of,” Miranda wrote.
The family is raising funds to help with medical bills, mental health care, living costs, and tuition. As of Tuesday, Jan. 4, the GoFundMe page raised $33, 720.

According to his LinkedIn page, Helck worked as a software engineer for the New York Times and graduated with a degree in history and Spanish from Rutgers University.
