As we celebrate and acknowledge July as BIPOC Mental Health Month I’d like to showcase and acknowledge the contribution of Sieu Nguyen.

Sieu grew up in Vietnam and moved to the United States 11 years ago for college. After graduating with a degree in Film and Media Studies he started working as a Production Associate in the Brand Marketing team at Paramount. He has produced and edited videos for various marketing campaigns such as “Younger,” “Yellowstone”. He produced around 100 creatives for “Younger,” helping grow its social following by 408,000. He then transitioned to HBO/Max and worked on campaigns such as “Euphoria,” “The Idol,” “Hacks,” “Selena + Chef” and “The Sympathizer.”

His work involves writing scripts, studying interviews, editing videos, designing soundscapes, and most importantly, telling stories that resonate. This passion was proven and demonstrated at the 17th Annual Walk for Wellness and Recovery on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Nomahegan Park in Cranford, New Jersey.
The event's theme was "Passport to Wellness", and festivities began at 8 AM with activities such as yoga, refreshments, mental health awareness activities, community resource tables, games, and crafts. Sieu Nguyen volunteered his time and talent by capturing the voices of the walkers and other volunteers sharing their personal messages of hope and the importance of breaking the silence and stigma associated with seeking mental health support.
