Columbia High School's First Friday Night Lights

An overflow crowd greeted the Cougars at their first home night game

The Columbia High School Cougars saw a rousing welcome from an enthusiastic hometown crowd, as the marching band, under direction of Peter Bauer, cheer squad and football team took the field on Friday. This was the Cougars' first home game under the lights at Underhill Field, making "Friday Night Lights" a local reality.

Parent Vicki Shuster, who snapped these great photos of the band in action, said that the stands were filled to capacity, with hundreds of spectators turned away.

Friday night will see another home game at Underhill. Get there early to show your Cougar pride!
