Rain, 3+ Inches of It, Go Away!

The area is soaked again, just a week after Irene

Still drying out from Irene, South Orange was hit hard by the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee. The storm dropped more than five inches of rain in some parts of New Jersey; Newark Airport measured more than 3 inches as of last night, while South Orange hit 2+ inches. We remain under a Flood Warning, Flood Watch, and Hazardous Weather Outlook, according to the National Weather Service.

Keep an eye on local river levels here.

Around the region, roads were covered in water, but reports suggest more are passable this morning.
