Temple Sha’arey Shalom of Springfield, a mid-size, Reform congregation, has created new, flexible scheduling options for families seeking a warm, enriching connection to Judaism and an engaging learning environment for their children.
“Shabbat at Sha’arey” is a new creative format for Jewish learning, with flexible scheduling options for busy families with K-2 children.
First Fridays: K-3 families are invited to join our 6pm Family Shabbat dinners on the first Friday of each month. Teachers will provide 60 minutes of learning time for the children while parents engage in conversation with Rabbi Rosenberg. All family members participate in our interactive Erev Shabbat service at 7:30pm.
