Man Killed In Crash On Union County's Route 24 Ramp
The 30-year-old was killed while driving onto the Interstate 78 ramp in Union County, State Police said.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — A 30-year-old man was killed in a crash on Route 24 in Union County early Friday morning.
The crash took place in Springfield Township around 1:16 a.m., according to State Police. The driver, Alexander Marrero of Bloomfield was found dead on the scene by State Troopers.
Marrero was driving a Mazda 3 while traveling onto the Interstate 78 ramp from Route 24 when his car veered off the left side of the road and hit the guardrail.

According to the National Weather Service, weather conditions were foggy and misty in the area at the time of the accident, but rain had not started yet.
The crash is being investigated by State Police.
